Jordan Alter

Jordan Alter, Esq., is an Associate Attorney at Costas Law Firm, where he focuses on removal defense and USCIS matters. As the son of Soviet Jewish refugees, Jordan’s personal connection to the immigrant experience drives his passion for helping others navigate the complex path to legal status in the U.S.

He represents clients in immigration court facing deportation and handles family-based petitions, green cards, naturalization, waivers, and appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). Jordan brings both skill and compassion to his work, advocating for each client with clarity, commitment, and purpose.

He earned his J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and gained hands-on experience at CSU Law’s Civil Litigation Clinic and the Cleveland Immigration Court.
